The Love Series: acrylic, ink, and found object

The love series was concepted and created of mixed media and found objects in fall of 2007 through winter 2008. I collected the leaves knowing i wanted to incorporate them into paintings. I wanted the subject of the paintings to be something many people could relate to & the leaves serve as a perfect metaphor for the transition of how a relationship transforms and evolves through time. Enter: The Love Series. I love fall.

I found this series when I was going through some old things- it was indeed literally forgotten.

Personal Work

For the past ten years I have been developing and refining my ability as a collage artist. It has taught me lessons about precision, composition, and craft I doubt I would have experienced from experimenting with other mediums.
